Continuing a series of the developments, intended for the accelerated creation of electronic circuits, the company FUJIFILM dimatix presented jet cartridge DMC-11601 (Dimatix materials cartridge), which ensures press with the minimal size of drop 1 (pico-liter). The cartridge, in which are contained 16 nozzles, is built according to the technology of micro-electromechanical systems (MEMS), it is positioned for the use in the industrial and commercial systems and ensures the press the electronic circuits of high resolution, for example, on the displays, in everyday electronics and biotechnology. The cartridges, utilized in printers DMP (Dimatix materials printer), make possible, in particular, to print fastenings for the nanos-particle of silver, which perform the role of lock- discharge electrodes in the flexible displays. The value of drop reached in the new solutions makes possible to create devices by size in 20 nm. Into the sphere of application DMP- printers also enter silicic solar batteries and other photoelectronic devices, small RFID- antennas and organic thin-film transistors (TFT). In the biotechnological applications new cartridge makes possible to tightly pack the elements of massif for the analysis DNA. On the statement of company, with the new pico-liter cartridges the density of packing elements of such massifs grew by two. For the DMP- printers FUJIFILM dimatix also proposes cartridges with the minimal size of drop 10 pl – for the applications with the large size elements. DMP- printers make possible to bring functional liquids to the plastic, glass-, metal, paper, silicon, gel and thin-film surfaces.
