Intel company intends already in the first half of this year to begin the deliveries of working memory models with arbitrary access, that uses the effect phase state change in the substance (Phase-change random access memory, PRAM). WE deal here with chips with a capacity 128 Mbit, which will be produced on 90 nm technology.
As Intel declares , because of its high speed operation PRAM in the future it will replace flash- memory of type NOR. But this is not all : the range of the application of new type RAM is much wider. Intel manages the license of company ovonyx on PRAM on the base of halcogenides since 2000, thus intel was actively investigated this technology independently. Furthermore, new memory has sufficiently broad working temperature band, which will allow to use it, also, in the industrial applications.

As stated Doller, mass production of PRAM can begin already in the end of 2007, if memory will cause a sufficient interest for customers.
