South Korean producer modernized its super-portable computer (UMPC) Q1. Let us recall, that during January was shown the version of this device Q1P SSD, equipped with solid-state disk. This times the purpose of modernization was in the form of performance increase and also memory volume , which would allow to certify UMPC for the use with microsoft Windows vista. In particular, processors celeron M, used in initial model and working at frequency 900 MHz, yielded the place for more powerful intel pentium M, to working at frequency 1 GHz. The volume of operational memory is doubled : instead of 512 m. in configuration enters 1 Gb of memory DDR 2. In conclusion, hdd with volume 40 Gb replaced with more capacious, 60- Gb model. Without changes graphic subsystem remained. As is known, it is built on the base Of intel GMA900 and is connected to 7 inch display with resolution 800 x 480 pixels. It is remarkable, that although producer officially presented the modernized model, which was called Q1P for Windows vista, only yesterday (press release was dated on 8 March, so that it is possible to count the release of this product as unique gift to excellent half of humanity), about all enumerated modifications it was known even during September of last year. The price of computer, named by producer for market USA, is 1299 dollars. On the plans of delivery in other countries and about prices, recommended for their markets, until now there are no data.
