The mellanox technologies company , which is specialized in the highly productive solutions for connections inside clusters, is ready to demonstrate to participants in forum intel Of developer Of forum (Peking, 17-19 April) the connection Of infiniBand between two servers with the use of adapters Of connectX IB Of host Of channel Of adapter (HCA) and copper cable. The rate of data exchange  , as it is asserted, will be 40 Gbit/s (for omparison – this doubly higher than in the best produced in series solutions today). Mentioned adapters is the first articles of this type with the support PCI express 2.0, accepted in the beginning of year. Specifically, to this support the solution is obliged high speed work. Besides this, the novelty has one additional remarkable special feature: in it is for the first time realized the specification infiniBand quad-Data-Rate (affirmed in 2004). This made it possible to use 10 GHz of the diagram of parallel-series/series-parallel conversion (SerDes) and 4- linear configuration port infiniBand together with the copper cable.
