As reports associate, intel company plans to release two new processors, core 2 Extreme and core 2 Duo e4000, whose annocment is planned in the fourth quarter this year. These processor will be based on yorkfield core .

Intel core 2 Extreme yorkfield will operate at 1333 MHz system bus frequency . Four core processor support the technology intel VT, Enhanced intel speedStep and Intel 64/execute disable bit. Intel TXT is absent .

Intel Core 2 Duo e4000, model e4600, which is also planed for the fourth quarter, will have 2,4 GHz frequency and 800 MHz FSB . It is expected that in the wholesale price of intel core 2 Duo e4600 will be 133 dollars. The model core 2 Duo e4500 up to this moment will fall in price to 113 dollars.
