Hynix semiconductor company announced the release of 512- Mbit memory DDR SDRAM, working at the frequency of 185 MHz and equipped with error correction (ECC). New product is designed taking in account the production according to the standards 80- nm and is intended for the devices of mobile electronics. Since memory operates at the frequency of 185 MHz, its capacity, according to the data of company, composes 1,5 Gb/s, with exchange condition on the 32-bit system bus. The presence of ECC allow to increase the period of regeneration, which in turn, helped to decrease energy consumption almost doubly. The represented memory will be accessible in the form of version BY POP (package-on-package) and MCP (multi-chip package), which include, together with DDR SDRAM, a flash- memory of type NAND.
